What is 14ELMT?
Silicon [Si], the main component of silicone, is the 14th element on The Periodic Table of elements. Being part of the carbon family, it makes silicone one of the most biocompatible materials for carbon-based beings like us. Our business began by specializing in silicone prostheses, so 14th Element seemed to be the perfect name. We now provide full-service fabrication and offer more than just silicone products, but we still love the name and its roots!
